Today, the pranksters at the Onion offered up an “Ask Me Anything” meet-up on Reddit with a parody version of America’s vice president, a pretender known as “Diamond” Joe Biden. To lure in the crowds, fake Biden offered answers on “my Trans Am, things you can make into a pipe, Barack, or where we can hook up later” among other things. The real veep was less than impressed, and one-upped the faker with the flick of a Twitpic.

Joe Biden visits, shops at Washington’s new Costco

Vice President Joe Biden made an appearance at a Washington D.C. Costco, during its grand opening on Thursday.
Before getting down to the business of shopping, Biden paused to speak with Costco co-founder and former CEO James Sinegal.
“Thank you so much for being here,” Sinegal told him.
“Are you kidding me?” an affable Biden responded. We go to your store between Stanton and Newark in Delaware… all the time.”
