TSA delays allowing small knives back on planes

The Transportation Security Administration has decided to delay a controversial new rule that would have allowed small knives to be carried on passenger aircraft. The new rule for small blades — shorter than 2.36 inches in length and less than 1/2 inch in width — had been set to go into effect April 25th.

American Airlines grounds all flights after reservation system goes offline

American Airlines grounded all its flights Tuesday afternoon after experiencing nationwide outages in its reservation system.
All fights on the ground will be held at their gates until the computer glitch is fixed, the airline said. Planes in the air will be allowed to land.
