Southwest flight touches down in Missouri — at the wrong airport

Federal officials are investigating why a Southwest Airlines flight that was supposed to land at Branson Airport in southwest Missouri instead landed at another airport miles away — the second such mix-up in two months.

Southwest Airlines, known for open seating and boarding passengers in bunches, announced this week that fliers can buy a priority spot in boarding group ”A” for $40 per flight.
