NEW ORLEANS - The Baltimore Ravens fended off a second half surge from the San Francisco 49ers and overcame a 30-plus minute power outage to win Super Bowl XLVII 34-29.

NEW ORLEANS - Baltimore didn’t lose any momentum from an extended halftime.
Jacoby Jones took the 2nd half kickoff back 109 yards — setting an NFL record — to extend the Baltimore Ravens’ lead to 28-6 early in the third quarter.
Then the Superdome lights went out. Officials are still working to restore power to the stadium.

ATLANTA - Colin Kaepernick rallied the San Francisco 49ers from a 17-point deficit and the 49er defense stopped the Atlanta Falcons deep in their territory late to win the NFC championship game 28-24 and reach Super Bowl XLVII.

SAN FRANCISCO - Colin Kaepernick did the passing and running, and Aaron Rodgers couldn’t keep up.
Kaepernick outplayed the reigning NFL MVP and former Super Bowl champion in one sensational, record-setting playoff debut and led San Francisco right back to the NFC championship game.
