Today, the pranksters at the Onion offered up an “Ask Me Anything” meet-up on Reddit with a parody version of America’s vice president, a pretender known as “Diamond” Joe Biden. To lure in the crowds, fake Biden offered answers on “my Trans Am, things you can make into a pipe, Barack, or where we can hook up later” among other things. The real veep was less than impressed, and one-upped the faker with the flick of a Twitpic.

President Obama and his staff are quite savvy when it comes to technology — and social sites, in particular — so it shouldn’t comes as a surprise that they’ve turned to social sharing site Reddit on Wednesday. There, Obama held an “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) live chat, offering to take questions directly from the Reddit community.
For 13 years, Bryan Martin kept the book hidden from his daughter, dutifully taking it to her teachers, coaches and school principals every year to have them append it with positive comments and messages.
