MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - No. 2 Alabama has stamped itself a dynasty.

The Crimson Tide scored touchdowns on its first three drives against No. 1 Notre Dame and rolled to a 42-14 victory in a BCS championship game that didn’t live up to the hype Monday night.

Playoff! Change officially coming in college football

WASHINGTON - College football will finally have a playoff. Come 2014, the BCS is dead.

A committee of university presidents on Tuesday approved the BCS commissioners’ plan for a four-team playoff to start in the 2014 season.
