Bryshon Nellum named U.S. flag bearer for Closing Ceremony

LONDON - Track and field athlete Bryshon Nellum will carry the flag for the 529-member American team when they march into the stadium Sunday night for the Closing Ceremony.
A first-time Olympian, Nellum ran the lead-off leg for the silver-medal winning men’s 4x400m relay,who finished in 2:57.05. He also competed in the open 400m at Olympic Stadium, bowing out in the semifinal when he finished third in his heat in 45.02. On Thursday he ran in the heats of the men’s 4x400m, anchoring the team to a second place finish to qualify for the final.
